Salem Poetry Project Featuring Michael Schein @ IKE Box

Michael Schein wrote Liquid Perishable Hazardous (poetry – 2019), John Surratt: The Lincoln Assassin Who Got Away (history – 2015), and novels The Killer Poet’s Guide to Immortality by AB Bard (2012), Bones Beneath Our Feet (2011) and Just Deceits (2005). He edited Poets UNiTE! (2016), and founded LiTFUSE Poets’ Workshop. His poetry has been stuck to refrigerators.

Salem Poetry Project Featuring Efrain Diaz Horna @ Ike Box

Efraín Díaz-Horna was born in Talara, Peru, studied at Mt. Angel College in Oregon, and the University of Wisconsin. For 25 years, Efraín was employed for the State of Oregon and Multnomah County. He has been drawing, painting, and writing since he was a child. He has exhibited his art in Oregon, Mexico, Russia, and Peru. You can find his poetry in Expreso, The Oregonian, The Hispanic News, The National Catholic Reporter, and several newsletters. He is the author of the six poetry books and a translation of Kim Stafford’s poetry Cuando llegues al fondo, cava más abajo (2019).

Salem Poetry Project Featuring Corban University Poets @ Ike Box

Poets from Corban University will be reading their work from the Fusion Art Show which features student poems, paintings, and photographs. The art show will be displayed in Corban’s Psalm Center Gallery from late January through February. The poets, painters, and photographers will give a reading Thursday, February 13th, at 7 pm in the Psalm Center on Corban’s campus. Community members are very welcome. It is free and open to the public.
