Stephen Fowler is a performing artist, activist, justice advocate, and community educator from Portland Oregon. Stephen used his time to educate and expand his understanding of self-worth, potential, and purpose using art forms. Stephen is a co-founder of Verbal Escape which shows adolescents the power of their own voice and story.
Andrea Hollander moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2011, after many years in the Arkansas Ozarks, where she ran a bed & breakfast for 15 years and served as the Writer-in-Residence at Lyon College for 22. Hollander’s 5th full-length poetry collection, Blue Mistaken for Sky, is due from Autumn House Press in September 2018. Her 4th was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award; her 1st won the Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize. Hollander’s many other honors include the Vern Rutsala Award, an Oregon Literary Fellowship, two Pushcart Prizes (in poetry and literary nonfiction), and two fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts. Tom Richards is the author of Thirst for Beginners; Poetry, Prose and Quizzes, forthcoming in 2019 from University of Hell Press. His work has appeared in Phenomenal Literature, TheBigSmoke.com, the Writers’ Collective Anthology, and was recently writer in residence at Mother Foucault’s Books in Portland, Oregon. Tom is also the editor and publisher of The Portland Permanent Press, a monthly comedy and humor magazine, with Joe Sacco. He curated The Faux Museum in Portland, and has written for Willamette Week, the Oregonia, and had a monthly column in the Paperback Jukebox called Last First Thursday.
Carey Taylor is a native Oregonian who lives in Portland, Oregon. She has been published in regional, national and international journals and was nominated for a 2015 Pushcart Prize. She is the author of The Lure of Impermanence (Cirque Press), forthcoming in the summer of 2018.
