The wonderful Erik Muller has written, and the wonderful Ce Rosenow (Mountains and River Press) has published Durable Goods, Appreciations of Oregon Poets, a volume containing Erik’s essays about and poetry folios by six Oregon poets: Richard Dankleff, Barbara Drake, Kenneth O. Hanson, Clemens Starck, Lex Runciman, and Paulann Petersen.

On Sunday, July 9th, starting at 4 pm, Powell’s on Hawthorne will host a Portland launch for this collection. Eric will talk a bit about the book, and introduce Barbara, Clem, Lex, and Paulann. We’ll each give short readings from the poems Erik included in the Durable Goods portfolios.

Please join us at Powell’s to celebrate Erik’s remarkable accomplishment. Durable Goods is the only contemporary book of its kind dedicated solely to Oregon poets!
