Luna Flores was born in Mexico City. A technological and literature student, she participated in literary writing workshops at the Museo Universitario del Chopo in Mexico City. She began writing poetry when there were no more tears to mourn the loss of a first love. Living in the Mexican province she started to write short lesbian stories. Now Flores resides in Portland, OR and is a KBOO collaborator in the “Buscando América” and “FA Radio” programs. Since 2014 she has participated in the Voz Alta (Loud Voice) event.
