V. Falcón Vázquez was born in León, Guanajuato, México. She emigrated to the United States at the age of seven. She started writing short stories at the age of twelve and discovered the love for poetry two years later. In her artistic work, Falcón Vázquez, has worked in community plays such as Solo, Una Voz (One Voice) and The Vagina Monologues in Spanish. She participates in various art projects involving radio, television, music and art installations in the Mid-Willamette Valley and Portland area. She has published her first poetry book in Spanish titled “Trazos de mí”(Traces of Me).
