Bring a poem that your grandmother loved, or a meaningful poem—share the poem and why it’s meaningful to you.

Talking Poets, Silver Falls Library, 5:30-7:00pm

Featured poets Clemens Starck and haiku poet Lisa Gerlits, will give a reading, followed by an interactive discussion of each poet’s work, facilitated by Steve Slemenda.

Poetry Workshop, Silverton Art Association, 1:00-3:00pm

Writing to the Heart of the Poem, 

Heart: from Darkness to Light—

In this workshop, we will use various methods and prompts to write to the very heart of what your poem is about as you step out of the shadows and speak loudly to all you could not say.

Workshop cost: $40.00
