Join us for Tea & Poetry Day! Join a free poetry playshop with Krayna Castelbaum. Celebrate the senses with tea tastings & tea blendings thanks to Mountain Rose Herbs & Metolius Tea. Listen to the dulcet tones of Sisters Ukulele Group.
We’ll unveil the winners of our Food & Farm Haiku Contest, judged by Oregon State Poet Laureate Kim Stafford (see http://tinyurl.com/foodhaiku to enter). Kids: join Deschutes Public Library for a special poetry booth!
If you love poetry, bring some along to share and read aloud (keep it family-friendly, if you would). Sisters Farmers Market is open every Sunday through the end of September, 11 am to 2 pm, at Fir Street Park. Kids enjoy playing in the splash pad fountains!
