THE HOTEL AND MEETING SITE

The 2010 Spring conference will take place in Eugene, Ore. at the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center with some receptions and readings hosted by Tsunami Books.

Rooms at the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center will be held for OSPA conference attendees at a reduced rate of $99. This price is for all rooms, from singles to quads, except suites. (Suites include 2 separate bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms, a parlor, and a kitchen.) Please take advantage of this great room rate and share a room with 1, 2, or 3 others! This price is good only until March 16. Be sure to tell them you are with Oregon State Poetry Association when you reserve your room!

If you miss the March 16th deadline, or the Hilton runs out of rooms at the group price, you can still stay at the Hilton at the regular rate. There are also other hotels in Eugene.

This newly remodeled hotel in the heart of downtown features an indoor pool and fitness center (with individual TVs on the each piece of equipment), an outdoor Jacuzzi, a full-service restaurant, and a bar. The rooms feature flat screen TVs, coffee makers, microwaves, small refrigerators, balconies, and recycling bins. The Hilton has underground parking.

Tsunami Books is a local community bookstore at 2585 Willamette Street, Eugene, OR 97405-3132, (541) 345-8986. They are a regular reading spot and offer poetry slam workshops:
