OPA Fall 2016 Conference Call for Proposals

The Oregon Poetry Association is seeking presentation proposals for its 2016 annual conference, September 30th – October 2nd, in Eugene. Writing workshops, solo and group readings, lectures, panel discussions, ekphrastic and multi-media presentations, skits, or anything else related to poetry are welcome!

 

Join keynote speaker John Witte and Oregon poet laureate Liz Woody, as well as Oregon poets from all walks of life, at the Valley River Inn in Eugene. Lane Literary Guild co-sponsors.

 

Please submit a one-page proposal with:

Title

Presenter name(s)
Workshop: include examples and writing exercises
Panel: include different viewpoints on a topic, theme, form
Presentation: slide show, multi-media, history, etc.
Reading: focus on theme, e.g. nature, bilingual, poetry of witness

Other: Please describe in detail

Please list any A/V needs for your presentation

Presenters will be notified of acceptance by July 31st. Presenters receive free conference registration.
