SUMMARY:Salem Poetry Project Featuring Mike Shuler
DESCRIPTION:Mike Shuler writes poetry, stories, and songs. His writing has appeared in Northwest Passage, Calapooia Collage, Appalachian Magazine, Perceptions, Terra Incognita and others. He was awarded a North Carolina State Poetry prize a long time ago. His chapbook “Words on Wind” was published in 2015. He has been an active member of the Mid-Valley Poetry Society for about 10 years. He has a poetry manuscript prepared for publishing, from which he will read.\nThe Salem Poetry Project continues virtually. Each week presents a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
