Shannon reads from final revisions of “Minus Tides,” a gripping novel of coastal Oregon, which portrays environmental disruption and political turmoil as they reshaped lives of native peoples, immigrants, and settlers, from World War I to the 1970s.\nOPA poet Donna Henderson is the author of four collections–two (“Transparent Woman” and “The Eddy Fence”) were Oregon Book Award finalists. She loves artistic collaboration and cross-genre creative projects, especially involving music. Her poems, song lyrics, essays, reviews, and artwork appear in journals, anthologies, exhibits and recordings, and her ongoing series of reflective essays, “Are You With Me Here?” is on Substack. A practicing psychotherapist, Donna lives in Maupin, Oregon. She reads from her new book, “Send Word” (summer 2022, Riparian Press).
