SUMMARY:National Poetry Month Offerings
DESCRIPTION:For our fourth year in a row, join Gateless-certified facilitator Becca Lynne and John Miller for a special series of workshops celebrating National Poetry Month! These sessions are designed to spark our muse and create or reinforce a daily practice of reading and writing poetry.\nEach hour-long workshop will meet on Zoom, where Becca or John will present a poem along with related inspiration intended to assist you in entering a generative state. The session will then write (on-camera or off-) for approximately 30 minutes in silence. When we reconvene, we will not share our first drafts, but we will briefly conclude each session with a communal discussion that may be about the prompt, a sharing of our individual process, or an offering of aspects to the practice of writing.\nYou are welcome to attend every session or only those that work for you. No worries if you’re registered for the series and miss a session– Becca will email you a copy of that day’s prompt after the session concludes.\nThe workshops will begin Monday, April 1st. Sessions in this series will take place on the following days and times in April:\n*Saturdays at 9am PST with John\n*Sundays at 7pm PST with Becca\n*Mondays at 12pm PST with John\n*Tuesday – Optional access to Becca’s Mythology Series at 10am\n*Wednesdays at 6pm PST with Becca\n*Thursdays at 7pm PST with John\n*Friday at 1200pm PST with Becca\nPricing for the series:\n– $100 includes all hour-long sessions and access for the month of April to Becca’s Mythology Series on Tuesdays.\n– $80 includes all hour-long sessions.\nPlease direct inquiries, questions, and concerns to Rsmolen@smolz.com\n
