DESCRIPTION:In this workshop, suitable for poets of all skill levels/publication histories, we will read and discuss some poems that focus on childhood from a diverse group of poets. With those poems and prompts the workshop leader will supply, participants will then write (and share if they wish to) their own poems. This is a fundraiser for Oregon’s SMART Reading, which provides readers and books to children throughout the state. The Zoom meeting information will be sent to participants after they register.
