Get an answer from a book. Poets know best!\nJoin co-hosts John Miller, Becca Bluemel and M. L Lyons for this special event at Rose City Book Pub that celebrates the coming weekend’s Portland Book Festival.\nThe guidelines:\n– Bring your own published poetry collection or your favorite book of poems and add it to a box\.\n– Open mic readers will pick a book from the box, open to a random page, and read, or they can ask the audience where to start and perform the poem as is.\nThis event is open to all, whether you bring a poetry book or not. Event starts at 5:30 PM and lasts an hour. Come for the poetry! Stay for the performance and hear something new!\n
