Call for Conference Session Proposals

The Oregon Poetry Association invites proposals for workshops, presentations, and panels for its 2018 Fall Conference, to be held Sept. 29-30 (Sat-Sun) at the beautiful Valley River Inn in Eugene, OR. Proposals will be accepted between May 1 and June 1, with decision notification on June 16. Presenters receive free registration for the day-and-a-half conference, as well as Saturday lunch.
Last year’s conference topics included poetry comics, personification, surprise, poem endings, lineation, narrative medicine, haiku, writing around abuse, interface of poetry and ceramics, poetry and resistance, poetry and science, and generating new poems after Raymond Carver. Presenters came from Oregon, Washington, California, and South Africa.
