Would you like to teach a one-hour workshop at OPA’s annual conference, scheduled for Oct. 7, 2023 on Zoom? We are currently collecting workshop proposals, hoping for a healthy mix of craft talks, generative workshops, and everything related to the business of writing and publishing poetry, keeping in mind this year’s theme, “Getting Past the Mask.” Your proposal should include a title and description of your workshop, along with a brief bio which includes your experience presenting talks and workshops. Presenters will be paid an honorarium and receive free admission to the conference. Send us your proposals via https://opa.submittable.com/submit. Deadline is June 16. We hope to meet in person next year, but meanwhile, this is a great way to reach poets all over Oregon and way beyond.
