Frankenstein’s Underwear

Frankenstein walks into

The haunted, haunted house

And he scares everybody

In his underwear

The Journey of a Leaf

An orange and red autumn leaf

Flutters in the wind and breaks away

Carried by the breeze.

Where will it go?

What will it do?

Will it land?

Or will it fly?

I wonder what will happen

To an orange and red autumn leaf

That is carried by the breeze.

Morning Sun

In the morning

The sun beams down

Onto the storage house

In the park

Like a river of light

In the morning

The sunlight crawls

Down the trees

Like a lizard

And hits the field in the park

In the morning

It’s as warm as sand

In the morning

Me and my mom

Get to see this sight

My Clock

My clock is waiting

For every hour

It laughs out loud

It goes to sleep and sings

A soft sweet song

Tamales

Tamales cook in corn wrap

Like yellow-colored leaves

In boiling, cracking water

So clear and tangerine
