Colette Tennant’s first book of poetry, Commotion of Wings, was published by Main Street Rag in 2010 as an Editor’s Choice. Her poetry was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2014. Her second poetry book, Eden and After, was published by Tebot Bach July, 2015. She has had poems published in various journals, including Southern Poetry Review, Dos Passos Review, and the most recent Prairie Schooner. She lives in Salem, Oregon. This is her twenty-third year as an English Professor at Corban University where she teaches poetry writing, creative writing, and many literature classes.
