The “Oregon Jewish Voices” reading is now in its 23rd season!
Authors Bryna Goodman, Seth Lorinczi, Vivienne Popperl, Michael Schein & Willa Schneberg
will share their works:.
Bryna Goodman, a professor of Modern Chinese History at U of O
was a finalist in Nonfiction for the 2022 Oregon Book Awards for
The Suicide of Miss Xi: Democracy and Disenchantment in the
Chinese Republic.
Seth Lorinczi’s work focuses on Jewish intergenerational trauma,
psychedelics and healing. He was a co-organizer of this year’s
“Judaism & the Psychedelic Renaissance.”
Poet Vivienne Popperl’s new collection is A Nest In the Heart, 
was published this year. She received second place in the 2021
Kay Snow Award for Poetry by Willamette Writers.
Michael Schein is the founder of LITFUSE Poets’ Workshop. He writes
in a variety of genres. A work of historical fiction is  John Surratt: 
The Lincoln Assassin Who Got Away.
 
Willa Schneberg co-founded with OJMCHE’s director, Judy Margles,
Oregon “Jewish Voices,” now in its 23rd year. A new collection of poems,
The Naked Room, relating to mental health is forthcoming Jan. 2023.
