Join us for a special event: a featured reading with Becca Lynne, Marc Janssen, and John Miller, in person at the Rose City Book Pub– all are welcome! 1329 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97212 (proof of vaccination required by the venue)

Becca Lynne will be reading from her book Excoriation, published by The Poetry Box in 2020. It’s an honest, thought-provoking exploration via poetry, into motherhood, relationships, heartache, love, and the cosmos.

Becca is a Gateless© certified facilitator, group leader, and editor. She leads a current series of generative writing workshops virtually and lives in Portland, Oregon. Becca’s earlier chapbook, Motherhood and Other Scars, is also published by The Poetry Box, and her poetry has also been published in Poeming Pigeon, Feminine Collective, Cirque, Tiny Seed, and others.

Marc Janssen will be reading from his book November Reconsidered, published by Cirque Press in 2021. It’s part rant, part meditation, part acerbic commentary… a gritty and darkly funny collection of November poems that transport us from site to site, back and forth through time.

Marc has been writing poems since around 1980. His verse can be found scattered around the world in places like PinyonSlantCirque JournalOff the Coast and Poetry Salzburg . He coordinates the Salem Poetry Project- a weekly reading, the occasionally occurring Salem Poetry Festival, and was a nominee for Oregon Poet Laureate.
