Join us for a reading featuring Debra Elisa and Francis Opila.  Debra’s debut poetry collection, You Can Call It Beautiful, is a mosaic of joy and grief, offering glimpses into loss and trauma that shape a family and travel that can open us up to wonder. Debra co-hosts The Humble Poets Open Mic in North Portland.

Francis’ debut poetry collection, Conference of the Crows, takes the reader on a journey in the natural world, exploring both its beauty and ecological destruction. Questions, both spiritual and material, are pondered. Francis often combines recitation with North American wooden flutes.
