Poet-Songwriters in Conversation & Performance

On Sunday, June 23, the Mid-Valley Poetry Society will present a program of “Poet-Songwriters in Conversation & Performance. In this program, four Oregon poet-songwriters —  Colette Tennant, Sue Fagalde Lick, Kristen Grainger, and John Van Dreal — will talk about how they practice their two arts and will perform both poems and songs. Moderating the conversation will be Mike Shuler, also a poet-songwriter. Joining the program as performing musicians will be Dan Wetzel and Kevin Rentz. The program will take place at 2 to 4 p.m. in the Dye House at Willamette Heritage Center. Admission will be free; donations, much appreciated. Books and CDs by the featured poet-songwriters will be available for purchase.
