Salem Poetry Project featuring the River Road/the Anthology

Joan Dobbie, Emerald Literary Guild Prez, co-created RIVER ROAD/THE ANTHOLOGY, 2026. along with Erica Goss, Amanda Powell and Dianne Dugaw. This two volume collection showcases nearly 150 mostly Pacific Northwest writers. Her own books include Woodstock Baby,2013, The Language of Stone, 2019 and Zenyatta/Joanna, 2023. She has a U of O MFA in Creative Writing. The Salem Poetry Project continues at the Bush Barn Annex, 600 Mission St SE, Salem. Parking for the Bush Barn and Bush House is located off of High Street and the Annex entrance is just to the left of the main entrance. Each week will present a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
