Salem Poetry Project featuring the “What is Oregon Poetry” Conversation
This evening will be a panel discussion about the regional identity Oregon poets. What does that even mean? The panel will include Dale Champlin, publisher of Just a Lark Books, editor of Verseweavers, and coordinates Head for the Hills a bi-monthly poetry event. Lex Runicman is the author of several books and professor at Oregon State University and Lindfield University. Rachel Barton edited Willawaw Journal and serves as associate editor for Cloudbank Books.
April 2 through April 23 the Salem Poetry Project continues at the Bush Barn Annex, 600 Mission St SE, Salem. Parking for the Bush Barn and Bush House is located off of High Street and the Annex entrance is just to the left of the main entrance. Each week will present a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
