Salem Poetry Project featuring Viqtori Joyce
Viqtori Joyce (they/she) has lived in Salem for over 25 years. Her poetry focuses on the topics most important to them: social and political justice, her unique perspective on gender, and their experiences as a person with CPTSD and autism. When she isn’t working on her first book of poetry, she enjoys playing chess at the local pub, board game nights with friends, and alternating their pronouns with reckless abandon.
The Salem Poetry Project continues at the Bush Barn Annex, 600 Mission St SE, Salem. Parking for the Bush Barn and Bush House is located off of High Street and the Annex entrance is just to the left of the main entrance. Each week will present a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
