Pepper Trail’s new collection of poems, “Wild/Flower: Poems of the Oregon Flora,” has just been released by Painted Thrush Press. From spring wildflowers to autumn foliage, from delicate columbines to carnivorous cobra lilies, these poems illuminate the varied and beautiful flora of Oregon. In the words of Charles Goodrich, “Trail’s spacious poems invite us to inhabit the braided mystery of life-within-death-within-life.”
Trail will read selections from the collection at the Ashland Public Library on April 3, 4-5 PM. The book is available at Bloomsbury Books in Ashland and on Amazon.com.
