Pop-Up Shrines, is being published by Finishing Line Press

OPA Member, Linda Drach, of Beaverton is excited to announce that her poetry collection, Pop-Up Shrines, is being published by Finishing Line Press. The book is available for pre-order now through August 1st at:
Pop-Up Shrines explores how illness and disability coexist with new rooms of discovery and resilience. It’s an exploration of life’s “dark corners feathered in wonder.”
Pulitzer Prize winner, Philip Schulz, said: “I’ve never read poems like these, so honest and probing, so unrelentingly courageous in their desire to leave nothing unsaid.”
Poet Stephanie Adams-Santos called the book: “a glowing, tectonic landscape of the heart.”
And if you like strong coffee, here’s how Oregon Poet Laureate, Kim Stafford, described Pop-Up Shrines: “If you could capitulate to utter honesty about the knotted tangle of difficult love, you would write poems like the ones that fill this book, that demand full attention and reward only the strong. If most love poems partake of wine and moonlight, these deliver strong coffee—bold-hearted, indelible, and true.”
Order now, and Pop-Up Shrines will be mailed to you on or shortly after September 26th. It will be available this fall wherever books are sold.
