Salem Poetry Project Featuring Sandra Klevern

Poet and essayist, Sandra Kleven, is the publisher at Cirque Press where Cirque is published as well as other books such as Marc Janssen’s November Reconsidered. Kleven has been published in journals such as Alaska Quarterly Review and Stoneboat and has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.  She works full time as clinical director for a tribal organization in Alaska.   Her work has been collected in Defiance Street: Poems and other Writing. It is available from The Writer’s Block and from Kleven, herself.

The Salem Poetry Project continues virtually. Each week presents a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow. For zoom details contact Marc Janssen at [email protected]
